    Short description of the contract or purchase(s)

    A Facilities Manager Service is required for the management of building-related

    services and processes at the EPA’s Dublin Regional Inspectorate in Clonskeagh,

    Dublin 14. The aim of this request for tender is to engage a high quality,

    comprehensive facilities management service which adheres to all legal and

    regulatory requirements and relevant standards. The Facilities Manager role will

    be required to develop and manage the day to day operation of the Regional

    Inspectorate buildings in Clonskeagh, as well as support a local Facilities

    Management Coordinator, Safety team and Green Team.

    The initial contract requirement under the framework is for one full time on-site

    Facility Manager located at the EPA offices in Dublin. While the role will be mainly

    focused on Dublin there will be a requirement from time to time to carry out

    functions in other EPA regional locations. This will be to ensure inclusion of

    regional locations in centralised service delivery and centralised procurement as

    appropriate.

    The role is on a full time basis at the EPA’s Dublin Regional Inspectorate in

    Clonskeagh, Dublin 14 and working hours will be for seven and a half hours from

    9:00 to 5:30pm on EPA working days - normally Monday to Friday.

    Tender proposals are sought from organisations with established expertise,

    experience and capacity to provide quality, efficient and effective facilities

    management support service as outlined in the main tender document.
