    The successful tenderer will be required to provide the following services:

    1) the provision of environmental and ecological advice on the Draft Plan especially as it relates to ensuring compliance with the statutory requirements.

    (2) The undertaking of a Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) of the Draft Plan. This assessment should comply with the principles and requirements of:

    - the SEA Directive 2001/42/EC

    - European Communities (Environmental Assessment of Certain Plans and Programmes) Regulations 2004 to 2011 (S.I. No. 435 of 2004 and S.I. No. 200 of 2011).

    - the Floods Directive 2007/60/EC.

    (3) assistance in the undertaking of an Appropriate Assessment (AA) of the Draft Plan to ensure its compliance with the principles and requirements of the Habitats Directive 92/43/EEC and the European Communities (Birds and Natural Habitats) Regulations 2011 (S.I. No. 477 of 2011)
