In accordance with Clause 2.1.3 of the above RFT the Contracting Authority is cancelling this public procurement competition. The competition was envisaged to be a national framework with a number of framework members to provide value for money and choice across the public sector however it has resulted in an insufficient number of potential framework members to achieve this aim. It is anticipated that the Contracting Authority will conduct a new public procurement competition to establish a Multi Supplier Framework Agreement for the Supply of Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) in 2016.”
