    Total quantity or scope:

    Limerick City & County Council (LCCC) manages a housing stock of

    approximately 5,000 units within the City & County. LCCC has an ongoing works

    programme for demolishing, maintaining and upgrading the existing housing

    stock. The Council also has a construction programme for the provision of one off

    single housing units and extensions.

    Thermal Upgrade and Demolition projects are mainly, but not exclusively,

    carried out in the Moyross, Southill, St. Mary’s Park and Ballinacurra Weston

    areas of Limerick City. Below is a breakdown of the anticipated number of

    contracts envisaged to be undertaken via this framework per annum: is approx. 11 per anum with 3-40 units per contract for thermal upgrade and approx. 6-10 per anum with 6-8 units per contract for Demolition.

    LCCC may procure PSDP services for contracts other than those mentioned

    above and LCCC may procure any of these works by other means at its

    discretion.
