    Short description of the contract or purchase(s)

    The HSE wishes to identify, procure and implement the provision of 150 – 200 beds in

    one location on the north side of Dublin to provide a mix of long-stay and short-stay

    beds for residents with high-end complex care needs. The requirement will be to have

    a minimum of 150-beds to commence opening on a phased basis from October 2015.

    The HSE is seeking a suitable facility and Provider to provide the necessary

    accommodation and service to provide up to 200-beds on its behalf from one location

    and site. This residential facility must be fully compliant with HIQA environmental and

    residential care standards.

    The required services are Annex IIB services, and accordingly, only Articles 23 & 35 (4) of the Consolidated Public Procurement Directive 2004/18/EC for the Award of public service contracts, as amended, apply to the award of any contract(s) that arise from this process.
