    Short description of the contract or purchase(s)

    Iarnród Éireann (IÉ) requires the services of a competent and experienced

    company to provide Scheduled and Un-scheduled Hazardous Waste Disposal

    Services at a number of locations across the IÉ network including, Dublin, Cork,

    Sligo, Limerick, Ballina, Drogheda, Dundalk, Westport, Tralee, Waterford,

    Rosslare, Galway, Portlaoise. The core services required under the contract will

    include;

     The discharge of toilet effluent from DMU rail vehicles;

     The removal and disposal of hazardous waste (e.g. sludge, liquid waste,

    solid waste, waste oil/oil filters, batteries including some supply of appropriate

    containers);

     Pressure / Jet cleaning;

     Un-scheduled Call Out (incl. Emergency spillage call out);

    Full Specifications of the services required including locations will be provided at

    Tender Stage. The term of the Contract shall be three (3) years.
