Supply of Digital Video Recorders for CCTV

Iarnród Éireann (IÉ) are seeking expressions of interest from companies
specialising in the supply of digital video recorders (DVR) to the public transport
industry to participate in a tender process for the supply of approximately 60
(sixty) DVR units.
As an option to the proposed contract, IÉ will be also seeking proposals for the
supply of approximately 94 (ninety-four) 1080p resolution forward facing
cameras and an additional 31 DVR units.
The DVR units are required as a replacement for life expired equipment
currently installed on a number of fleets of rolling stock. As such, any proposed
replacement DVR will be required to interface with the existing installation with
minimal modification work to the vehicle required. The DVR equipment will be
required to operate from a 24v DC supply.
Selected equipment will be required to be in conformance with the requirements
of EN 50121-3-2, EN 61373, EN 50155 and EN 50124.
Supply of approximately 60 (sixty) DVR units.
Optional pricing for approximately 94 (ninety-four) 1080p resolution forward facing cameras.

IÉ will be seeking to have all equipment supplied by the end of 2015.
Companies whose lead-time for the supply of equipment exceeds to 2015 timescales are asked to take note of the advance payment provision in the attached supply contract.
The costs of procuring an advance payment bond should be factored into the commercial offer submitted in your tender response.
A grouping if successful must be prepared to contract as a single entity having joint and several liability with the members of the group. It will become necessary for the group to state a single addressee responsible for the receipt and processing of the participating orders and resolving any problems relating to the contract.
