    Hospital (AMNCH) intends to invite submissions from companies / organisations

    with expertise and capability relating to the provision of Diagnostic Imaging to

    AMNCH. The AMNCH throughout this document will be referred to

    Justification for the choice of accelerated procedure:

    The Hospital has a growing Radiology Outpatient Waiting list. This is as a result of increasing demand which cannot be facilitated by current capacity. This is most evident in outpatient waiting times for MRI, CT and US. Additional capacity is required for the diagnostic imaging of outpatient appointments for MRI, CT and US, subject to clinical triaging. This will reduce the waiting lists from 12 months + to less than 6 months. This will have a knock on effect of improving inpatient length of stay as it will allow Clinicians to discharge patients earlier who can then return for required Diagnostic Imaging in an outpatient setting within a timely return date.
