    Short description of the contract or purchase(s)

    Fáilte Ireland wishes to establish a Multi Party Framework Agreement for Event

    Management Services. The successful tenderer(s) must be based in Ireland for

    the duration of any contract awarded under the framework. There may be a

    requirement for some events to be organised in the overseas markets. The

    successful tenderer(s) will be required to be present at such events. The

    successful tenderer(s) will be required to maintain full records including financial

    and accounting records for each contract awarded under this framework. You will

    be required to attend meetings and present event progress reports. Generally

    these events are broken down by size:

    • Small – under 100 pax

    • Medium – under 300pax

    • Larger - + 300pax

    Requirements for delivery of this project include but are not limited to:

    • Accommodation sourcing and management

    • Venue sourcing and management

    • Transport & logistics

    • Creation and development of familiarisation trip itineraries

    • Entertainment and production

    • Gala dinners

    • Co-ordination and mgt of workshops

    • Activities and team building

    • Drinks receptions

    • On site management of all the above

    The contracting authority will not conclude this framework agreement to which a standstill period applies in accordance with Irish Statutory Instrument SI 130 of 2010, until after the expiry of the standstill period which commences on the day following the date of notification of concerned candidates and tenderers. The duration of the standstill period will be 14 calendar days where notifications are sent electronically or by fax and 16 calendar days where these are sent by any other means. The Statutory Instrument mentioned above provides that review procedures are available in the High Court to a person who has or has had an interest in obtaining the framework agreement and alleges that he or she has been harmed or is at risk of being harmed by an infringement of the law in relation to that framework agreement.
