    Short description of the contract or purchase(s)

    The objective of this RFT is to invite proposals from suitably qualified service

    providers to provide operational and strategic energy management services and a

    range of consultancy services to the business programmes with a particular focus

    on larger companies.

    A panel 30 service providers, who will demonstrate an expertise in energy saving

    technologies and methodologies, will be established.

    The role of the appointed consultant’s will be to engage directly with operational or

    engineering department experts in large industry in order to identify and assess

    specific energy using or supply technologies and energy saving projects;

    investigate, develop and deliver new methodologies for energy efficiency

    performance improvements; drive a structured energy management approach

    based on ISO 50001 principles, and provide advice on use of renewable

    technologies in the sector.
