    Beaumont Hospital intends to award a contract for the provision of a point of care testing system for blood gas and electrolyte analysers, blood glucose and ketone meters and IT connectivity for all point of care

    testing devices. The contract will include the provision of all necessary equipment, consumables, reagents and training and the carrying-out of all

    The successful tenderer will be remunerated for the provision of the required system and associated connectivity on the basis of the cost of reagents and associated consumables. For the avoidance of doubt, ownership of all equipment will not transfer to the Contracting Authority at any point during this contract. In the first instance, a contract for the supply, implementation, maintenance and support of the required system and associated connectivity for a four year period will be entered into with the successful tenderer. Following expiry of this four year-period, and as a recurring option that may be availed of solely at the discretion of the Contracting Authority, three subsequent one-year contracts for the support and maintenance of the system and all associated connectivity may be awarded to the successful tenderer.
