    The Primary Care Reimbursement Service (PCRS) is a business unit of the

    Health Service Executive (HSE) with responsibility for approval, review, and

    reimbursement of all claims for services and refunds under all national Primary

    Care Schemes including General Medical Services (GMS), Drugs Payment

    Scheme (DPS), Long Term Illness Scheme (LTI), and the Dental Treatment

    Services Scheme (DTSS). In addition to the above functions PCRS also compiles

    statistics and trend analyses which are provided to other areas within the HSE,

    the Government, customers, stakeholders, and members of the public.
