    Short description of the contract or purchase(s)

    The Health Service Executive (HSE) is seeking tenders from suitably qualified service

    providers for Software Development and Maintenance Services to support the

    Primary Care Reimbursement Service (PCRS). PCRS is a business unit of the

    HSE with responsibility for approval, review, and reimbursement of all claims for

    services and refunds under all national Primary Care Schemes. Schemes include

    General Medical Services (GMS), Drugs Payment Scheme (DPS), Long Term

    Illness Scheme (LTI), and the Dental Treatment Services Scheme (DTSS). In

    addition to the above functions PCRS also compiles statistics and trend analyses

    which are provided to other areas within the HSE, the Government, customers,

    stakeholders, and members of the public. It is a requirement of the tender that the

    service will be provided from Dublin, Ireland.
