    Short description of the contract or purchase(s)

    Tourism Ireland is seeking a suitably qualified supplier to provide Managed

    Services [including an ICT Service Desk] and Hosting Services plus supporting

    Professional Services commencing January 2016.

    Tourism Ireland has a global network spanning 15 sites comprising of

    approximately 150 staff and 50 temporary or agency staff. Each site has at least

    1 server (except Dubai which has no server) and a minimum of 3 staff.

    Tourism Ireland‘s existing ICT Service Desk standard operations are via

    telephone and email from 0800 to 2300 364 days per year, with an out of hours

    and on call facility.

    Tourism Ireland‘s existing dedicated hosting facilities are split across an

    outsourced hosting facility in a Citywest data centre in Dublin (internet facing)

    and Tourism Ireland‘s Bishops Square office, also in Dublin (non internet facing).

    Both sites have corporate servers and storage. Colocation Hosting is also in

    Citywest in Dublin.

    Tourism Ireland‘s main requirements are listed below:

    1. Managed Services of Dedicated Hosting equipment on the Hardware and

    Software listed in Appendix A including ICT Service Desk from 0800 to 2300

    GMT 364 days a year for 1st and 2nd Level ICT related issues.

    2. Dedicated Hosting of servers in a secure data centre and Colocation

    Hosting Services including Internet break out.

    3. Professional Services provision for the upgrade and development of the ICT

    Estate as per Appendix A and any additional hardware or software related ICT

    projects.

    Each component above is described in detail in the supporting ITT

    documentation.

    Quarterly and annual reviews will be required with key named personnel.

    Monthly reporting will also be required via email.

    The successful candidate must have a proven track record in the area of supporting an organisation with offices in various countries around the world and have the ability to support the technical infrastructure of Tourism Ireland‘s network of offices. The Contract Period will be for three [3] years subject to budget and annual performance review, and other factors. Tourism Ireland may, at its discretion, extend the contract annually for a further four [4] years up to a maximum of seven [7] years. It is anticipated that work under the Contract will commence in January 2016.

    This Call for Requests to Participate is the first stage in a two-stage restricted competitive tender process.

    Requests to Participate must be submitted in hard copy and must be sent in clearly marked envelopes. Please return the original signed Request to Participate plus 3 copies (4 hard copies in total) plus a soft copy on memory stick.

    Tourism Ireland cannot accept responsibility for applications that are lost or damaged in the post.

    Late applications will not be accepted. Applications by fax or by e-mail will not be accepted.

    Tourism Ireland will not be responsible for costs, charges or expenses incurred by participants, whether or not a final contract is awarded.

    Tourism Ireland reserves the right to have its partners avail of the services under this agreement, if required.

    Award of this contract will be subject to selected candidate obtaining a Tax Clearance Certificate as required by the Irish Revenue Commissioners.
