Coach Hire Services - Great Britain & Ireland
CIET carries approximately 14,000 tour passengers per annum with approximately 370 departures. Tours typically range in duration from 5 to 23 days and cover Great Britain and Ireland. CIET is seeking submissions from economic operators who are interested in participating in this procurement process and who, if successful, would be appointed onto a Framework Agreement for a period of three (3) years from January 2016, with an option to extend for a further period of one year. Framework members will have the opportunity to provide passenger services for the Scheduled Tour Programme for Great Britain & Ireland. Full details of the 2015 programme are available from the CIE Tours website http://www.cietours.com. Customers are principally English speaking overseas clients. This is a non-mandatory notice as this procurement process falls outside the requirements of Directive 2004/17/EC. The process will be conducted largely in accordance with the negotiated procedure, but will avail of the non applicability of the requirement for a standstill period and the application of the Remedies Directive 2007.

If a Tender is submitted by a group (more than one) of contractors, then those contractors, if their Tender is accepted, will assume such legal form by incorporation, partnership or otherwise, as will entitle them to contract as a single entity. It will be necessary for any group of contractors wishing to submit a joint bid to state a single addressee who will be responsible for the receipt and processing of the participating orders and for resolving any problems relating to the Tender and the Contract, if awarded.
