    ESB’s general properties include depots, administrative headquarters, offices, stores, yards, etc. There are approx. 100 such properties which range in annual rates liability from €500 to in excess of RV€600,000. Any general property acquisitions during the contract period will also be included in this contract.

    Communication Masts

    ESB Telecoms is a subsidiary company of ESB. ESB Telecoms owns and operates

    over 300 telecoms masts and has installed 1300km of fibre optic cable around Ireland.

    It manages the communication mast sites. Any communication site acquisitions during the contract period will also be included in this contract.

    across the Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland and the UK.

    The stations range from 0.5MW to 963 MW and have will have a combined rates liability of over €34M in 2015

    in order to be considered, Interested parties must download, complete, and submit the pre-qualification document provided on the Irish Government Etenders website at www.etenders.gov.ie before the deadline for submission of 12.00 on 2nd June 2015.

    A similar tender notice has been published by ESB on the Etenders website and the relevant pre-qualification document is attached to that notice and available for downloading.

    Following evaluation of pre-qualification submissions received, ESB intends to establish a short listing of between three and five suitably qualified candidates for each of the two lots described, to participate in a tendering competition for award of the contract, or contracts.
