Single-Party Framework Agreement for the Provision of Pest Control Services

The frequency and value of contracts to be awarded under this framework agreement will vary in accordance with the Contracting Authority‘s requirements.
The Contracting Authority intends to establish a framework agreement with a suitably qualified and experienced economic operator for the provision of pest control services at various sites under the Contracting Authority’s management. The successful framework member will be required to provide pest control services in relation to rodents (rats and mice), flies, insects and, as necessary, birds and feral cats. This framework agreement governs pest control services at the Contracting Authority‘s site for a maximum potential duration of four years. It is anticipated that this framework agreement will be primarily utilised by Beaumont Hospital. However, all RCSI Hospitals (Connolly, The Rotunda, Cavan General, Monaghan, Louth County and Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda) may also avail of services under this framework agreement. No guarantee is offered or is to be inferred regarding the number of hospitals that will ultimately use this framework agreement or the volume of business to be placed with the successful framework member.

A grouping, if successful in this competition, will be obliged to establish itself as a legal entity, with each party being jointly and severally liable to the Contracting Authority, prior to the establishment of this framework agreement.

The Contracting Authority undertakes that this framework agreement will not be established until after the expiry of a fourteen day ‘standstill period.‘ This period will commence on the day after the date of electronic notification of all concerned tenderers and is being observed in accordance with the provisions of S.I. 130 of 2010.
