      Irish Water is currently advancing the Portrane, Donabate, Rush and Lusk Waste Water Treatment Scheme (PDRL WWTS) comprising a number of different contracts to upgrade various aspects of the collection network and waste water treatment facilities in the Fingal area.

      This scheme involves the elements in the area of Rush and its environs. It comprises the upgrade to the waste water collection network and includes the construction of new pumping and rising mains.

      The Works comprise the design and construction of infrastructure including the associated testing, commissioning and proving of same and including the Taking-Over of the Works by the Employer. The Works can be summarised as including the following design and construction elements:

      • New and upgraded gravity sewers with varying diameters from 225mm – 550mm along public roads, and private & public lands for a total distance of approximately 6km.

      • New foul sewer rising mains with varying diameters from 250mm – 350mm along public roads, and private & public lands for a total distance of approximately 2.8km.

      • North Beach Pumping Station

      • East Shore Pumping Station

      • South Shore Pumping Station

Bord Gáis Éireann/ Ervia also reserves the right to contract with each member of the group on the basis of joint and several liability, or with one member of the group as a main contractor with a number of sub-contractors or on any other basis as Bord Gáis Éireann/Ervia considers appropriate.

      A pre-qualification questionnaire will be issued to all candidates who respond to this notice. Expressions of interest should be addressed in writing and sent via email for the attention of The Shared Services Procurement Manager to Rachel.Ahern@ervia.ie

      The Questionnaire will cover the financial, economic and technical capacity of candidates. The questionnaire must be completed and returned to the address in I.1. above not later than 17.00hrs Monday 25th May 2015.

      The responses will be used to assist in drawing up a tender list. This process may also include interviews with candidates. The contracting entity will not be responsible for any costs, charges or expenses incurred by candidates or tenderers relating to this contract award procedure.
