The supply of gym equipment
Co. Westmeath
AIT Sports Co is in the process of introducing a new facility within the AIT International Arena. As a result it has an immediate need to equip a Gym, Group Exercise Studio and High Performance Training Area within the Arena. This contract seeks tenders from interested parties to provide the equipment and all ancillary components/items required to allow AIT operate a full service which includes the supply, delivery, installation and servicing of Gym and Studio equipment along with training of staff (up to 10) over 2 sessions post the installation date.
The successful tenderer will enter into an agreement with AIT Sports Co.
The gym facility will consist of

Should the tenderer prefer to hand-deliver their tender, it is the responsibility of the tenderer to ensure that the tender is delivered to Mr. McKenna’s office (adjacent to the President’s office – directional signs are in place to the President’s office) by the stated deadline and not left at any other location in the Institute. Adequate time must therefore be allowed to find a parking space, as clamping is in operation on the campus.
Tenderers should ensure that their tender is dated, timed and signed by the accepting officer of the Institute.
The contracting authority will not conclude this contract to which a standstill period applies in accordance with Irish Statutory Instrument SI 130 of 2010, until after the expiry of the standstill period which commences on the day following the date of notification of concerned tenderers. The duration of the standstill period will be 14 calendar days where notifications are sent electronically or by fax and 16 calendar days where notifications are sent by any other means. The Statutory Instrument mentioned above provides that review procedures are available in the high Court to a person who has or has had an interest in obtaining the public contract (or Framework Agreement) and alleges that s/he has been harmed or is at risk of being harmed by an infringement of the law in relation to that public contract (or Framework Agreement).
