    Short description of the contract or purchase(s)

    The Commission for Energy Regulation (CER) is Ireland’s independent energy and water regulator. The CER was established in 1999 and now has a wide range of economic, customer protection and safety responsibilities in energy. The CER is also the regulator of Ireland’s public water and wastewater system. The CER wishes to engage support in relation to Pension Scheme Administration, Actuarial and Consultancy Services to work with the CER’s HR Department to provide advice and support on a broad range of actuarial matters and provide strategic consulting services.

    The services required by the CER shall include but may not be limited to the following :

    1. General Services;

    2. Pension Plan Administration Services;

    3. Investment Consulting;

    4. Trustee Training;

    5. Formal Evaluation of Scheme and

    6. Optional Additional Services.

    It is proposed to place a contract for a period of two years with an option for renewal for up to a further two years on an annual basis and subject to contract review and the written agreement of the parties.
