    Total quantity or scope:

    Local Authorities as part of a Road Management Office shared service requires road condition surveys to be carried out and processed for sections of the Local and Regional road network throughout Ireland. The data required includes but is not limited to Skidding Resistance, 3 dimensional spatial co-ordinates, longitudinal profile, transverse profile, edge of the road profile, surface texture, digital video and road geometry. It would be envisaged that the surveys be undertaken but not limited to between the months of April and November. The degree of accuracy for each data item is set out in the Specification to be provided in Respect of Contract for the Collection and Processing of Road Condition and Skidding Resistance Data- Non National Roads. The survey may require traffic management in accordance with the traffic signs manual.
