    The Contracting Authority has established a single-party framework agreement for the supply, delivery and installation of an automated real-time PCR solution for the detection of enteric pathogens directly from faecal samples. The laboratory currently processes approximately 3,000 tests for Salmonella / Shigella / Campylobacter / VTEC and 4,000 tests for Cl.difficile faecal samples per annum.
