    Short description of the contract or purchase(s)

    Tourism Ireland, the body responsible for marketing the island of Ireland overseas, is seeking to appoint a Supplier to design, build, service and store a quality stand for IMEX America in Las Vegas in October 2016. The scope of this tender covers the design and production of exhibition stands for use at trade and consumer promotions in the United States over the next 3-4 years. Support services, including transportation to and from the exhibition, and storage will form part of the requirements. These services will be supplied to and co-ordinated by Tourism Ireland‘s New York office.

    Tourism Ireland is seeking to appoint a Supplier to design, build and service a quality stand for IMEX America. The stand should reflect the quality standard of the partners who exhibit at this show, comprising 4 and 5 star hotels and venues in addition to Destination Management Companies and Professional Conference Organisers. The images and design of the stand should reflect the global Ireland Business Tourism brand – Meet in Ireland - see www.meetinireland.com

    IMEX America is an international trade fair for the MICE industry (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Events) which will be held in Las Vegas and will take place at the Sands Expo Convention Center at the Venetian/Palazzo. Tourism Ireland, exhibits at this event and provides a marketing platform for trade partners from the island of Ireland. For further details on the show log onto www.imexamerica.com

    In addition to the services outlined above for IMEX America, this Contract will cover the provision of stand design, build and support services for Tourism Ireland in the US Market as required during the Contract period.

    The Contract Period will be for three years subject to budget, annual performance review and other factors. Tourism Ireland may, at its discretion, extend the contract for one additional annual term, subject to budget, annual performance review and other factors.

    It is anticipated that the Contract will commence in January 2016.

    Any non-US based Tenderers should note that they will bear the costs associated with the transportation of the stand to and within the US.

    Additional information:

    The Services required are to be provided in the USA to Tourism Ireland‘s New York office.

    Duration of the Framework Agreement: The Framework Agreement will be for 3 years, renewable annually – subject to satisfactory performance, with the possibility of extending for a further period of up to 1 year.

    Please note that Tourism Ireland does not guarantee that the services will be carried out during the lifetime of the Framework Agreement.

    Tourism Ireland requires all Tenderers to adopt the format set out in the Invitation to Tender Document.

    One signed original plus three additional hard copies and one soft copy on CD must be delivered by in a sealed envelope/package to the delivery address by the deadline stated in this Contract Notice.

    Tourism Ireland cannot accept responsibility for applications that are lost or damaged in the post.

    Tourism Ireland will not be responsible for costs, charges or expenses incurred by participants, whether or not a final contract is awarded.
