    Short description of the contract or purchase(s)

    The successful respondent to this RFT will be responsible for the management of all Government Networks core equipment and services. Government Networks comprises a number of rings nationally. These rings are provided at 10 gig/s speeds by a number of private providers. The Government Network (also known as the Government Cloud Network) uses MPLS and runs primarily on HP networking equipment. In addition there is a large base of Cisco equipment providing legacy services.
