Short description of nature and scope of works:

Dublin City Council is currently assessing its procurement of private and public housing with a view to potentially commencing a competitive procurement process in relation to its requirements. The primary objective of any such procurement process will be the increased provision of private and public housing on City Council owned lands.

To assist in the preparation of a competitive procurement process the City Council wishes to hold a Technical Dialogue Process, comprising a number of informal discussions with the market, to explore options open to it for the development of three key sites, detailed below, which it would like to bring to the market in due course.

The sites are as follows:

Site A – Cherry Orchard, D10 c. 8.2 hectares

Site B – Oscar Traynor Road, D5 c. 16 hectares

Site C – Belcamp Lane, D5 c. 6.3 hectares

It is envisaged that the specification of requirements and procurement strategy ultimately adopted will be informed, to some extent, by the Technical Dialogue discussions.
