    The national fire service is currently embarking on a complete upgrade to its ICT infrastructure. Munster Regional Communications System (Limerick City and County Council) on behalf of the Irish Fire Service is seeking to procure a new fire alerting communications system together with a 5 year maintenance provision for the system. New GD92 and MG4 (or recognized equivalent standard) outstation equipment to support the mobilisation and alerting of approximately 220 (full-time and retained) stations in Ireland is to be provided.
