      Short description of the contract or purchase(s)

      Iarnród Éireann (IE) invites Applications from suitably qualified companies to participate in the Pre-Qualification process to establish a framework agreement for railway fencing requirements that may arise.

      Under the proposed Framework Agreement all requirements will be mini tendered.

      The common types of fencing used are:

      Concrete Post and Wire

      Timber Post and Wire

      Palisade

      Octopost

      All necessary drainage and vegetation clearance works also to be included

      All Contractors staff must hold up to date safe pass, a railway P.T.S (personal track safety) Cert and Relevant certification to operate large and small plant machinery (including chainsaws)

      At this stage the quantities and locations of the fencing works to be undertaken is not known.

      A Pre-Qualification Questionnaire is attached to this notice and must be completed and returned in order to be considered.
