    The authority is tendering for a contractor to deliver security services (not including manned guarding). The services required include monitoring of alarm and CCTV, mobile patrols as well as routine and reactive maintenance of alarm and CCTV systems.

    Total quantity or scope:

    Saint John of God Hospitaller Ministries proposes to engage in a restricted process in order to establish a contract for the provision of security services. While the tender document issued to successful candidates will contain full detail regarding the precise services required, the following is provided as an outline of the service requirement.

    This tender will be divided into threel lots:

    Lot 1 – Dublin Mid Leinster area

    Lot 2 – North East and East area

    Lot 3 – Co. Kerry

    Daily activities

    In general, the successful tender member will be responsible for the following:

    • Fulfilling all key-holding requirements as required;

    • Carrying out alarm monitoring and response duties including emergency call outs 24 hours a day;

    • Reporting all incidents to staff in an agreed format and timely manner;

    • Co-operating with the relevant staff member (IT, receptionist, responsible Security person in the Services) in respect of the ongoing development of CCTV monitoring;

    • Participating in emergency planning and health and safety inductions/training as required by the relevant staff;

    • Adhering to all internal procedures of the staff in question;

    • Providing overnight supervision of CCTV if is required by the Service;
