    IE has a wide and varied requirement for repair and rehabilitation of electrical rotating machines in support of its train fleets. IE currently relies on specialist support companies to provide specialist repair and rehabilitation work for safety critical equipment fitted to its fleets, by way of example components making up power generation and transmission systems.

    IE wishes to optimise the support services required through contract with a minimum number of suppliers.
