The new children’s hospital will merge the existing health services for children currently being provided at Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital Crumlin, the Children’s University Hospital Temple Street and the National Children’s Hospital Tallaght. This may include procuring the works in a number of specialist works packages including:
Enabling / decanting works, including demolitions and general site preparation to be carried out separately and in advance, potentially with host hospital as contracting authority.
Satellite unit(s) which are off site and most likely to be procured separately.
Sub structure works, including retaining structures, foundations, services diversions, road realignments and related civil & other engineering & temporary works.
Main hospital build, shell core and envelope, constructed on the prepared platform described above. This would include major specialist packages of work related to mechanical, electrical, lifts, facades/curtain walling and the like.
Specialist Hospital fit-outs, incl. all major equipment, in areas such as theatres, radiology, ICU; labs, and other departments
