This contract is to supply Front of House and Kitchen Cleaning Services to all Defence Forces locations. The Defence Forces is made up of fourteen(14) locations.

    Short description of the contract or purchase(s)

    This is a high value contract for the supply and delivery of Front of House and Kitchen cleaning services to the Defence Forces and the winning tenderer will have an opportunity to work with a customer who has overhauled their supply function in order to extract efficiencies from fourteen (14) locations.

    The Defence Forces carry out the procurement in an open and transparent manner and in line with National and EU Public Procurement guidelines. The procurement process for Front of House and Kitchen Cleaning Services will be conducted in accordance with those procedures and the basic principles of transparency and equal treatment will be adhered to. All personnel involved in the award process have significant experience and education in public procurement

    You are invited to tender for the above-mentioned contract. This contract is to supply Front of House and Kitchen Cleaning Services to all Defence Forces locations. The Defence Forces is made up of fourteen(14) locations. The contract is expected to run from 01 January 2015 to 31 December 2017 with an option to extend for a further year subject to performance measurement review. The estimated value of the contract is circa €3 million per annum.

    The services to be provided under the contract shall be delivered to the satisfaction of the Minister and his/her agent in accordance with the specified requirements as and when required. Defence Forces personnel at both a local and national level will monitor quality of service.

    This tender will be in two Lots, (Lot 1 and Lot 2) they are as follow:

    In order to quote for lot 1 Companies must quote for all locations within this lot. Companies that do not quote for all locations within this lot will be excluded from the competition for Lot 1.

    In order to quote for Lot 2 Companies must quote for all locations within this lot. Companies that do not quote for all locations within this lot will be excluded from the competition for Lot 2.

    Companies may quote for both lots.

    The quotation will be for all costs associated with servicing each location. Each location will have requirments unique to themselves which will be further explained on the site visits.
