      The works consist of a new building constructed next to the phase 1 existing emergency department block. The new block will provide for an A & E extension on the ground floor, Three ward floors to provide approx eighty three new single beds and operating department of five operating theatres on the fourth floor. Initally however only a partial fit out is proposed comprising two ward floors and part of the ground floor.
