Annual call off from Framework or a single call off from the first framework
Iarnród Éireann Road Fleet Services operates the car and van leasing services on behalf of IE, Bus Éireann, Dublin Bus and CIE Group. The services required include but are not limited to the leasing of cars and van’s by Iarnród Éireann for use by Iarnród Éireann, Bus Éireann, Dublin Bus and CIE Group. The service includes the scheduled maintenance, unscheduled maintenance and vehicle repairs.
Along with the supply of vehicles, the services may involve the management of all aspects of the overall fleet to include but not limited to the following: Fuel Cards, Toll Tags, Accidents, Racking, Vehicle Details, Invoice processing, Cost Control, Vehicle Pooling, VMS, Optimum Vehicle Utilisation, Detailed Reporting etc.
The overall fleet size consists of approx. 655 vehicles.
The projected new leasing requirements over the next three years are:
2015 - Cars -88, vans - 381
2016 - Cars -1, vans -67
2017 -Cars -7, vans 2
Note these are estimated only and are subject to change
• Cars (mostly 5 seater passenger, 1000cc to 1700cc, diesels).
• Vans (2 to 7 seaters, ranging from 4 to 12cubic meters load space, 1400 to 2200cc)

A grouping if successful must be prepared to contract as a single entity having joint and several liability with the members of the group. It will become necessary for the group to state a single addressee responsible for the receipt and processing of the participating orders and resolving any problems relating to the contract.
The economic and financial capacity of the entity must be established to the satisfaction of IE.
Applicants will be invited to complete a questionnaire which seeks company details; information on similar contracts undertaken with value, dates, locations and contact names for reference etc; applicants may be requested to provide supporting information such as balance sheets for the past three financial years.
The technical competence of the entity, its employees and processes must be established to the satisfaction of IE. Applicants will be invited to complete a questionnaire which seeks company details to establish the entity’s technical capacity.
