As a result of changes to legislation the Office of the Official Assignee (formerly an Office of the High Court) has merged with the Insolvency Service of Ireland (‘ISI‘) to create a Bankruptcy Division within the ISI. The independent statutory position of the Official Assignee under the Bankruptcy Act 1988, as administrator of bankruptcies and being answerable to the Bankruptcy Judge, remains unchanged.

The required property services will be offered as individual Lots.

Accordingly, the Contracting Authority invites Tenders for:

Lot 1 - The auction of moveable property.

Lot 2 - The sale, by whatever means, of residential property.

Lot 3 - The sale, by whatever means, of commercial property.

Lot 4 - Letting and management services.

Tenderers may bid for one or more Lots without any restriction.

Full details of the service requirements for each Lot is outlined at Appendix 1 of this RFT.

Tenderers should note, for the purposes of this RFT, property should be taken to mean all property such as land, houses, apartments, antiques, furniture, art, cattle, cars, etc.

Land has the meaning assigned to it in the Land and Conveyancing Law Reform Act 2009. http://www.irishstatutebook.ie/pdf/2009/en.act.2009.0027.pdf
