The Contracting Authority has a requirement for the provision of parliamentary publishing and printing services, to include printing, electronic publishing and related services in relation to parliamentary and other documents. These services are imperative to the functioning of Parliament and for ensuring that all legislative and other parliamentary papers are available for Members (elected representatives) of the Houses of the Oireachtas (the Houses) when needed. This will generally require an overnight service to be delivered by the successful tenderer during sitting periods. For the avoidance of doubt, this contract is deemed critical and therefore demands that potential service providers wholly understand the Specifications in terms of scale, commitment, contingency and the high levels of service that the Contracting Authority requires to ensure a functioning service.
