    Short description of the contract or purchase(s)

    The Contracting Authority (The National Roads Authority) (“NRA”) requires the services of Contractors for the maintenance of traffic calming schemes and pedestrian crossings in the Republic of Ireland.

    The Contracts include Cleaning, Maintenance, Inspection, Reporting, Inventory, Routine Fixing of Minor Defects and Schedule Works of Traffic Calming Schemes including replacement of Traffic Route Specific to Traffic Calming, and maintenance of Pedestrian signals as well as other ancillary works which may be outlined in the Call Offs.

    The NRA has split the work into two separate Contracts, which will be referred to as Lot 1: Traffic Calming Maintenance Contract - Northern Region and

    Lot 2: Traffic Calming Maintenance Contract - Southern Region.

    The procurement process will comprise of two main stages; qualification and tender. All interested parties must first register their interest on eTenders.gov.ie, download the Information Memorandum & Suitability Assessment Questionnaire and submit a completed questionnaire. The questionnaires will be evaluated and a shortlist for Lot 1 and Lot 2 will be prepared. Only those parties that are shortlisted will be invited to tender.
