GENERAL DESCRIPTION Objectives It is proposed that Oaklee Housing in partnership with Louth County Council and the St John of God, St Mary’s Drumcar develop a group home scheme for adults with high support needs. This need is identified under the congregated settings report and is confirmed by Louth County Council and the objective is to re-house SJOG’s clients in accommodation that is suitable for their needs whilst at the same time reducing the local authorities housing waiting list (intellectual disability) The objective of this contractor Pre-qualification tender is to shortlist suitable contractors to tender for the construction of the 2 x single storey group homes (1 x 4bed, 1 x 3bed) and associated works & services. The site area is approximately 1170m2 and the combined gross floor area of the group homes extends approximately 425m2.
