UCCAL 2016/002 - UCCAL, a 100% owned subsidiary of University College Cork (“UCC”), wishes to appoint a service provider to provide Accounting and Payroll Services.

UCCAL is a wholly owned subsidiary of UCC. It is a start-up, not-for-profit company which has been incorporated to promote the interests and strategic aims of UCC.UCC Academy has been in operation for over 2 years and currently has operations in Ireland, New York, Delhi and Shanghai. Turnover in the 12 months to 30th September 2015 was c. €1m, and expenditure €1.3m. Staff costs comprise 70% of expenditure and it currently has 29 staff on contracts ranging from 3 weeks to 3 years. This invitation to tender is comprised two lots, Lot 1 Accounting Services and Lot 2 Payroll services. Tenderers can submit proposals for one or both lots. • The Invitation to Tender is on the basis that the appointment of a service provider will be for a period of three years (the “Term”), subject to general conditions of contract. The contract may be extended by two periods of 12 months.
