Land Based Geotechnical Site Investigation, Smooth Point, Killybegs Fishery Harbour Centre

The Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine requires the services of a geotechnical site investigation company to undertake site investigation works at Killybegs Harbour, Co. Donegal. The geotechnical site investigation will involve the completion of 10No. land based exploratory holes in the area of a proposed quay extension within the harbour. Boreholes and rock drilling are required to determine strata and rock level and to facilitate in-situ testing and extraction of samples for laboratory testing. Borehole geophysics is also required to determine the toe level of the exisitng combi wall sheet piles.
