ITT15-040 - Supply of an inshore vessel, outboard engine and road trailer

An inshore vessel with outboard engine and road trailer for the deployment and testing of marine sensors, wet testing and calibration checks of marine electronics instrumentation, and water, environmental, and habitat studies. Technical requirements - Inshore vessel with outboard engine, and road trailer. • Hull: heavy duty GRP deck and rigid hull (for gear mounting), length overall (LOA) between 5.8 - 6.2m, maximum draft 0.5m, beam under 2.7m, maximum hull displacement of 1000kg. Self draining cockpit with, (or capable of retro-fit with) sufficient approved built-in buoyancy to enable the vessel to remain afloat and upright in the event of sampling of the vessel. Scantlings, quality of materials, and standard of construction to meet Recreational Craft Directive 94/25/EC. • Engine / Fuel: Outboard engine between 60-70hp, with fuel capacity minimum 60 Litres. • Fittings / Fixtures: Bilge pump, mooring cleats, bow roller, anchor winch, chain, anchor, safety rails, navigation lights, toilet, sink, gas hob (appropriately fitted), secure cabin enclosing steering console (with helm fittings, instrumentation displays), VHF/DSC radio, basic navigation equipment/instrumentation and safety equipment, cabin seating and/or stowage & table. • Vessel Speed: minimum vessel speed of 15 knots required. • Deck space: Approximately 2 x 2 m of aft deck pace required • Trailer: galvanized road trailer with towing lights, with appropriate load capacity and roller fittings. Please note second hand items up to 5 years of age will be considered. If second hand items are proposed, please state the age and condition. Details of prior usage should also be given, including full maintenance history and engine hours. Items without this information will be rejected.
