BIM would now like to invite tenders to provide project management and labour associated with this cleaner fish project to develop an experimental protocol for growing 200,000 lumpfish larvae and /or lumpfish eggs imported from a disease free hatchery under experimental research conditions up to size 10-15g for use in an integrated sea lice control management plan on commercial marine salmon farms in Ireland. A manual is to be produced. The work is to be carried out in Ireland. The successful tenderer will be required to demonstrate the delivery of a high quality and reliable service. They must show that they have or have access to the required fully equipped duly licensed marine research facility with sufficient indoor tank capacity (5 m³ total volume should be adequate), temperature control and they must have a proven track record in the holding and handling of marine finfish eggs and larvae.
