15/106 - 15/106 - Provision of Project Supervisor Design Process (PSDP) Services for Irish Water

Irish Water is seeking to form a panel of Suppliers, experienced in the carrying out all of the duties of the Project Supervisor Design Process (PSDP) as required under the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (Construction) Regulations 2013, to act as PSDP for some projects under its existing Minor Civils and Minor MEICA frameworks. The Minor Civils Framework covers all works and services associated with the following: • laying of new potable watermains • laying of new sewers • connection works to existing potable watermains and sewers • water and wastewater facilities/infrastructure • planned watermain leak repairs The Minor MEICA Framework covers all works and services associated with the following: • MEICA and ancillary works associated with Water Treatment Plants• MEICA and ancillary works associated with Wastewater Treatment Plants (excluding Wastewater Treatment Package Plants) • MEICA and ancillary works associated with Water Networks • MEICA and ancillary works associated with Wastewater • Includes Wastewater Treatment Package Plants. For the purpose of this tender, Irish Water has divided the country into 6 Zones each of which cover a number of Local Authority geographical areas. Accordingly, it is proposed to utilise that regional sub-division to divide the works packages into (6) zones as follows: Zone 1: Clare, Cork City & County, Limerick and Kerry Zone 2: Tipperary, Waterford City & County, Kilkenny, Carlow and Wexford Zone 3: Dublin city, Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown, South Dublin, Fingal, Kildare and Wicklow Zone 4: Laois, Longford, Louth, Meath, Offally and Westmeath Zone 5: Cavan, Donegal, Leitrim, Monaghan and Sligo Zone 6: Galway City & Galway County, Mayo & Roscommon The tenderer is not required to price for every zone listed above.
