Constitution of Boards and Rules - Design, print, packaging and labelling of 36,000 booklets of approx 172 to 192 pages

The Department of Education and Skills is inviting tenders for the design, print, packaging and labelling of 36,000 copies in total of an A4 publication entitled ‘Boards of Management of National Schools – Constitution of Boards and Rules of Procedure’ (Note: The title may be subject to change prior to publication but the successful company will be notified). Each copy is written in both the English and Irish languages with the English version to the front of the document. The closing date to reply to this tender competition is 12:00 noon on 14th September, 2015. It is anticipated that the successful tenderer will be notified during the week commencing Monday 21st September, 2015 or as soon as possible thereafter. A link to the last version of the document printed in 2011 is attached. The updated 2015 version will be sent to the successful tenderer as soon as possible after the award of the contract who will then have a maximum of three full working days to design the booklet. When designed, the booklet will have to be returned to the Department for approval before the print run can commence. The Department will require a minimum of three full working days for this process. The successful tenderer will have a maximum of 14 calendar days from the date the approval to print is given from the Department, to complete the printing, packaging, labelling requirements and to make the packages available for collection by a separate distribution company at one location in Ireland.
