2015_01 New Gym Consultancy - Invitation to Tender for Architectural Consultancy Services (in the form of an Architect led Design Team) for the construction of New PE Room project at SHS Tullamore school (roll number 65620V )

On behalf of the School Board of Management of the SHS Tullamore (the Contracting Authority for this project) you are hereby invited to tender for Architectural Consultancy Services (including buying in of additional services for other disciplines as required) for New PE Room project at SHS Tullamore. The lead consultant must be a Registered Architect and the services to be bought in shall include: quantity surveying; building services; civil/structural disciplines. The project consists the construction of a 590m2 floor area PE room (excluding remodelling works, toilet facilities and site works) to be located to the west side of the school and adjoining the current school structure. The PE room should be positioned where it will not interfere with any future development at the school. Services shall include all surveys, investigations, procuring of statutory consents (to include planning permission, fire safety certificate, & disability access certificate), agreement of brief, feasibility, design, procurement and administration of building contract, compliance certification. Services as PSDP will be agreed separately. The letter of sanction from the Department of Education and Skills contains a condition that the works commence on site and 70% of the funding has been drawn down by 8th January 2016 and that the remaining 30% of the funding is drawn down by 8th July 2016. The Form of Contract will be the Standard Conditions of Engagement for Consultancy Services (Technical COE1) including the Template Schedule A and B, available at www.education.ie under School Design > Appointment of Consultants > Small Works and Small Devolved Projects. Tenders may submitted by hand, by registered post and must be comprised of at least one hard copy of all documents and 1 soft copy on CD or USB.
