The Regenerative Medicine Institute (REMEDI) of NUI Galway was established in 2004 as a Science Foundation Ireland (SFI)-funded Centre for Science Engineering and Technology (CSET) with a particular focus on the development of novel biotherapeutics involving stem cell and gene delivery. REMEDI wish to purchase a Laser Doppler Imager (LDI) to replace outdated equipment in the laboratory. This is a blood perfusion imager that allows monitoring of blood flow. LDI will allow us to confirm cessation of blood flow to the hindlimb during HLI surgery and will allow measurement of blood flow recovery after stem cell treatment. The Laser Doppler Imager will be used for small animal models in the laboratory. Full details of requirements are set out in the Invitation to Tender document that is available on www.etenders.gov.ie. Suppliers must be registered on the etenders website in order to access this information. Registration is free of charge. Once registered, suppliers should click on the contract notice and "accept" the invitation. The tender documents will then be accessible.
