WCCC/L/205 - Supply of an RFID solution for Carrickpherish Library (with an option to install in 4 additional Libraries) (1)

Waterford City and County Council invites tenders from competent suppliers for the supply of an RFID enabled self-service system in its new Carrickpherish Library. It is envisaged that the system will provide self-service arrangements for Carrickpherish Library; simplify the process for users; achieve efficiencies for staff with low levels of staff intervention in routine processes and provide increased and more relevant statistical information for management. Carrickpherish Library will accommodate stock of approx 25,000 items, comprising books, media (CD/DVD) and other items. WCCC reserves the option to install the solution in 4 additional libraries in the county. Please note this RFT replaces RFT ID 94179 (now cancelled) which had an incorrect closing date in June. Please note the closing date is 29th April 2015.
