SFPA/PAY/2015 - Provision of Payroll Processing Services to the SFPA

The Authority intends to establish an agreement with one service provider for the provision of Payroll Processing Services that will assist the Authority to provide reliable financial reporting and compliance with applicable laws and regulations. This Request for Tender (RFT) issued by the Sea Fisheries Protection Authority invites suitably qualified service providers to assist in payroll processing. Please refer to Appendix 2 for a full detailed description. Employees are paid on a mixture of weekly, fortnightly and monthly intervals. Below details the current breakdown of staff numbers according to the relevant payment interval: Pay Interval Type No. of Employees Monthly 4 Weekly 10 Fortnightly 80 Fortnightly Pensioner 12 These figures are subject to change where there may be future recruitment requirements in the Authority. The tenderer will liaise with the current service provider to ensure a seamless transition and hand-over, including the synchronising of payroll dates. It will be required to do likewise when the Contract terminates with any replacement service provider. The tenderer will be required to provide the Authority with all co- operation, assistance, information and data which the Authority may require when putting the services out to tender in the future.
