1522 - Disposal of An Post Owned Vehicles by Auctioneering or similar services

An Post are seeking a solution for the efficient disposal of commercial vehicles to ensure that the best possible sale prices are achieved and that there is full accountability and control of vehicles. An Post plans to establish a single party framework agreement for a period of 5 years. An Post wish to appoint a supplier to provide a full end to end management of the services which will include, but not limited to, the following:- • Collection of vehicles from An Post Delivery Service Units (DSU’s) nationwide • Removal of decals • Preparation of vehicles for sale • Advertising of sale • Ensuring best sale price is achieved • Change of ownership management • Issue of payment to An Post • Regular reporting and audit trails of all transactions An Post will have a requirement to replace approx. 750 vehicles late 2015 / 2016 and then ad-hoc disposal for the remainder of the framework agreement.
