IBR0514 - Churchtown Landfill Site – Provision of M&E Services

This Contract will involve the installation of Mechanical and Electrical services to facilitate operation of a leachate extraction and treatment processes in Integrated Constructed Wetlands (ICWs) and Short Rotation Coppice Willow (SRC Willow) at the recently restored Churchtown Landfill site (overall area approximately 60,000m2) in accordance with the Waste Licence (W0062-01). The scope of the works will include: • construction work on a closed landfill site • minor earthworks • drainage works • the supply and installation of leachate distribution and irrigation pipework • design, supply and installation of leachate management infrastructure including pumping stations, monitoring infrastructure and control systems • amendments to existing leachate storage sumps • other civil engineering ancillary works • the management of Health and Safety on site (PSCS)
