FD 12/14/02 - Ash Landfill Bottom Lining Systems

Bord na Móna wish to appoint a framework of suitably qualified suppliers for landfill bottom lining systems at West Offaly Power Ash Disposal Facility, Shannonbridge, Co Offaly and Lough Ree Power Ash Disposal Facility, Derraghan, Co Longford. The liner will be laid down under an engineered ash landfill cell to prevent the migration of leachate into underlying ground. The drainage geocomposite will act as a drainage core to filter and transport leachate between the bottom lining system and the ash landfill.
